Mr Morris is the founder, owner, and managing member of Radford Investment Properties. Starting his career in real estate in the middle of the last real estate crisis in 1992 he worked for the REO disposition group at Coopers Price Waterhouse selling foreclosed properties for the Resolution Trust Corporation. In addition to his early experience with Coopers, he had stints with CB Richard Ellis (working for the #1 investment broker in Denver in 1994), and THK Associates where his focus was on feasibility studies for developers.
Mr. Morris's core career focus in multifamily began in 1997 when he started with the acquisitions group at Apartment Investment and management Company (AIMCO). AIMCO is a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust that during this period was buying aggressively. Mr. Morris was part of an acquisition team that 3 other publicly traded real estate companies for a combined $1.6 billion and and additional 20,550 multi-family units for $912 million in portfolio and single asset transactions. After AIMCO, Mr. Morris worked as acquisitions manager for another local REIT Chateau Communities where he acquired 6 properties for over $50 million in his brief time there. In 2001, Mr. Morris started the investment property business that became Radford.
